 The
Clubhouse: The squadron provides a
full club bar and restaurant.
Frog's provides a full
club bar and restaurant. The clubhouse is open 7 days a week from
11.00am.
The
clubhouse bar is a fully stocked bar providing an extensive range
of beverages, including beers, wines and spirits. We pride ourselves
on the quality of service and the relaxed friendly atmosphere which
is available within our clubhouse, and we strongly urge members
and visitors to join us for a drink and a meal. We are sure it will
be an experience that you will not forget.
A
long standing tradition at the club has been the Friday night twilight
sail hosted by club members, followed by, fine wine and
great food. Come and visit, or phone the club (4035 1049) for
details of this and other organised activities and events.
The
Restaurant: The clubhouse is now independently operated as
FROG'S
ON THE WATERFRONT and it provides full lunches and dinners,
offering high quality food at very competitive prices. The dining
facilities are provided in a beautiful setting overlooking the waterfront.
Lunch is served
from 1200 until 2.00pm, dinner available from 6.00pm until 8.00pm
Wednesday to Saturday; and Sunday through to Tuesday 6.00 pm until
7.00pm. The friendly staff at FROG'S will
welcome your booking for that relaxed dinner with a friend, or for
group functions and celebrations.
FROG'S
provides a
welcoming relaxed atmosphere together with some of the finest
home-cooked meals at extremely reasonable prices.
Lunch specials Monday to
Thursday $5.00 workers' lunch. Friday to Sunday they offer a buffet
selection for $12.00.They are renowned for the diversity and range
of their gourmet food, all of which is now available at the Squadron.
In addition the Club's restaurant prides itself on delivering basic
and popular bar meals.

Library:
We have a small library in the clubhouse which is available
for members and visiting yachts. It is run on an honour system,
based on one out for one in. We are always looking for more books
for the library, so if you have some books you no longer require,
donations are gratefully accept
BBQ:
Outside the clubhouse there is a great BBQ area, with verandas
and umbrellas. The BBQ is available for use by members when the
restaurant is not operating.

The
Admiralty Room: On the top floor of the clubhouse we have the
Admiralty Room, an excellent self-contained function room with full
length balcony. This room is available for weddings, business functions,
meetings and conferences, and can also be hired on a half-day, or daily
or evening basis.
Facilities
include a private bar, audio equipment and a large screen video
projector. There is a small dance floor, plenty of tables and chairs,
a white board and all the gear you need to hold a successful event.
The
balcony offers spectacular views of Admiralty Island, our Marina,
and Cairns waterfront. It is undoubtedly one of the most pleasant
and relaxing function rooms in Cairns, away from the maddening crowds.
We can supply morning tea, lunch, afternoon tea, dinner or supper.
There is an extensive menu available for special occasions, such
as weddings.
We
also cater for cocktail parties, dinners and other functions.
The
lawn downstairs can also accommodate a large marquee and this can
be serviced from the downstairs bar.
We
have easy parking within the premises for up to 40 cars.
The
Admiralty Room is one of the most "in demand" function
