Sydney Hobart Yacht Race

Join us at the Cairns Cruising Yacht Squadron for the 2024 Rolex Sydney Hobart Yacht Race. The club will be open from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm. Come and immerse yourself in the race day atmosphere with fellow enthusiasts and spectators at CCYS. Enjoy refreshments and take in the waterfront views. Whether you're passionate about sailing or simply love major sporting events, CCYS promises a warm welcome this Boxing Day.

Australia Day 2026 at CCYS - The Cairns Cruising Yacht Squadron will be open for Australia Day celebrations on Monday, 26th January 2026. Come down to the clubhouse and join fellow members and friends as we celebrate Australia Day together. Festivities will be held throughout the day, with food, drinks, and plenty of good company.

With a licensed bar and kitchen on site, plenty of parking, picnic-perfect surrounds, and heaps of room to move, Anchor Drop is equal parts party and hangout.
